My name is Calvin, I am a commercial driver for Baja Limo. I’ve been employed at Baja Limo for 8 years now, with a lot of experience in Wine Country Tours. This weekend I took a group of 18 to the beautiful Napa Valley in one of our new 2015, 20 Passenger, Tiffany Party Buses. We started out in Sacramento at 9:30 am and arrived at Domaine Carneros around 10:30 am for a 90 minute, estate vineyard, seated tour featuring sparkling and red wines. My group was very impressed with the grounds, the service and the champagne. Domaine Carneros is a must see estate if you plan to visit Napa Valley.
We departed Domaine Carneros and headed up the St Helena Highway to The Market Restaurant in Down Town St. Helena for lunch. Their menu consist of a variety of gourmet entrees from Famous Mac N’ Cheese to Pepper-crusted Steak Medallions and if they are in season you must try the grilled padron peppers. The atmosphere is a blend of elegance mixed with a relaxed feel and a touch of history with the beautifully restored bar. No reservation needed at The Market, stop by this establishment if you are in the area you won’t be sorry.
From Down Town St. Helena we headed south on the St Helena Highway to Alpha Omega Winery in Rutherford for a group tasting on their terrace. Alpha Omega is surrounded by vineyards and mountains and has a rustic, farm-style atmosphere. The terrace boasts a beautiful fountain overlooking the vineyards. Alpha Omega is a five star winery with five star service our group raved of the surroundings and spectacular views.
